Pinero, brother of Chevato, and his Lipan wife Addochinah. She is Pinero's second wife. His first wife did not accompany him to Oklahoma. He supposedly had one child with his first wife. Story goes that he killed a man in Mescalero. That was the reason he and Chevato first left Mescalero for Oklahoma. The returned several years later. The second time they left Mescalero was in the 1890's. By the time allotment occurred for the Comanche Reservation, they were listed on the Comanche rolls as full Comanche. There were no children of this marriage. The story of this was shared with me by Cousin Gladys (Totite) Narcomey. She was told by our cousin Maggie Parker, who Addochinah lived with after the death of Pinero, that Addochinah knew which plant root to take to avoid becoming pregnant. After moving to Oklahoma for the last time, Pinero took a Comanche wife. There was one son born of this marriage, Thomas Totite. Thomas had 3 children, 2 boys and 1 girl. It is believed that both boys had polio and died as infants, less than 2 years old. The girl is our cousin Glady (Totite) Narcomey of Elgin Oklahoma. She has been extremely helpful in the information for this website.
